Unable to Qualify For Unemployment? New Program May Be Able to Help

The Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) program is meant to aid those that do not qualify for traditional unemployment assistance. 

The following people qualify for PUA 

·       Independent contractors

·       Self-employed

·       Individuals without sufficient work history

·       Individuals who have exhausted their regular and any extended UI benefits

·       Must self-certify to be able and available to work except are unemployed due to COVID-19 related reason

Applications will be accepted online starting this upcoming Tuesday, April 28th!
