The Healthy Black Families’ Umoja Community Relief Fund is providing financial assistance to individuals in need. Funds can be used for rent, utilities, groceries, health and wellness. The program is open to all, but applicants that meet the following criteria are prioritized:
-Current and/or previous participants in HBF programming
-Residents of Berkeley
-Residents of Alameda County
-Households that include one or more children
-Families that display high need
-Families from underserved, historically disadvantaged communities
