The following counties and 23 zip codes have been approved for Mass Replacement SNAP benefits for all households due to the wildfires and power outages.
All households in these zip codes will automatically get 50% of their August allotment loaded onto their EBT cards.
The zip codes are:
· Butte: 95914
· El Dorado: 95633
· Marin: 94924; 94956; 94937; 94970 and 94950
· Napa: 94567
· Santa Clara: 95113
· Santa Cruz: 95006; 95017 and 95064
· Shasta: 96071; 96065; 96096 and 96084
· Sonoma: 95419
· Sutter: 95991
· Tuolumne: 95321
· Yolo: 95679; 95637 and 95606
· Yuba: 95918
Any household that loses food due to loss of power of more than 4 hours, can apply for replacement SNAP even if they don’t live in one of these zip codes. This is available at any time that food spoiled due to an event that is out of the norm, including but not limited to:
- lost power for 4 hours or more,
- utilities were shut off (for any reason),
- freezer or refrigerator stopped working, or
- there was damage from a fire, flood, or storm.
